Why should young athletes join our YOUNG ATHLETE'S SUPPORT GROUP?
- During our weekly gatherings we learn how to practically protect ouselves from emotional breakdowns and calm our internal storms to be able to compete on a higher level of mental and emotional efficacy.
- Young atheletes start to get aware of other people's feelings and the influence those feelings have on their bodies and minds.
- They get to embody the emotions of the person they are communicating with.
- In most cases it happens on unconscious level.
- All young atheletes might "catch" the negative emotions that a parent, a coach or a teammate may express.
- If individuals are not aware of their own behaviors and body language and how to process emotions, they can transfer them onto someone else and create unpleasant situations, injuries or frustrations.
